The Archives Procedure Manual is revised and updated continuously. No copy of the original, from 1970, exists. Copies of the Manual from 1979, including updates, have been kept. In August 1986, the Manual was placed on fixed disk storage of DW3. In August 1990 the Manual was converted from the software program DW3 to Wordperfect 5.1 and updated... The Accession Manual lists all accessions from the beginning of UM Archives but there is a gap from 1/13/71 to 7/2/74.
